Responsible for the provision of robust, scalable, and secure 24/7 IT infrastructure across global sites. Interaction with external suppliers and involvement with multiple stakeholders in the provision of new or modified infrastructure and services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring that all activities performed are executed in strict accordance with Trident's Health and Safety Policy.

  • Maintenance of business infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

  • Manage and monitor business networking, storage, and virtualization environments.

  • Maintain and upgrade systems to ensure all necessary server patches are applied.

  • Maintain cloud technologies such as Azure.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

  • Ensure business infrastructure is compliant with relevant regulations and security standards.

  • Continuously improve business infrastructure to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT Support engineers.

  • Collaborate with Vendors of 3rd party applications to ensure software licensing is adhered to.

  • Collaborate with Managed Service providers to ensure business services are maintained.

  • Work with a multi-disciplined team to deliver Infrastructure or Desktop projects.

  • Provide technical support to colleagues in person, via phone, or email.

  • Procurement of IT consumables.

  • Providing end-user support for applications and systems.

  • Maintaining inventory of hardware and software.

  • Configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Contacts: High level of contact with colleagues offering technical support on day-to-day issues.

  • Level of Responsibility: Responsible for ensuring the systems are maintained and are available.

  • Decision-Making Authority: Authorized to make independent decisions on medium-level issues within established process control.

  • Physical and Sensory Demands:

  • Physically Sedentary, Sensory demand is High.

  • Extensive DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Use.

  • Extensive periods of concentration with attention to detail.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting with opportunity to take breaks when required.

  • Working Environment:

  • Office environment, primarily working from home.

  • Provides 24/7 call-out support for emergencies

This hybrid position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an IT environment.

  • Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

  • Experience with AWS or Azure.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are an advantage.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Support function.

Compensation:

  • The annual base salary range for this role is from $60,880 to $68,490.
