Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Project Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting a Project Management Office (PMO) by ensuring the effective management and oversight of multiple projects. This position involves maintaining project schedules, assisting with quality assurance processes, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Power BI. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and willing to work at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington DC. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    Project Schedule Management:
    • Support the constant review and maintenance of 50+ project schedules.
    • Prepare project schedules for incorporation into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Quality Assurance Support:
    • Assist the PMO Lead in administering the PMO Quality Assurance (QA) process.
    • Ensure proper documentation of projects to maintain task order compliance.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Maintain governance of artifacts and deliverables in accordance with PMO processes and policies.
    • Support PMO Project Review Board (PRB) activities.
  • Change Request Processing:
    • Assist PMO Federal employees and Project Managers (PMs) in processing Project Change Requests (PCRs) through PRB activities.
  • Committee Coordination:
    • Support COE Committee coordination, briefing, and working session activities.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Draft task order communications alongside the PMO Lead, including project status updates, PMO reports, and policy/process changes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Management:
    • Proficiency in SharePoint and Power BI to create and manage dashboards that provide insights into project performance and status.


Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Enterprise IT Environment, performing business analysis, and coordinating with customers on requirements and business services.
  • Must have related experience supporting IT projects, knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations, to include service delivery, and IT infrastructure systems.
  • Proven experience as a Project Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Power BI proficiency: Ability to create and manage dashboards effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PMO processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with MS Project.
  • Experience in government or federal project environments.
  • PMP, CAPM is a plus.
