Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Administrative Management Specialist for the Tenants Contract, supporting the Air Force Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate's Advanced Concepts Division (AFRL/RWC), at Eglin AFB, FL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-10 years relevant experience
- Secret Clearance, eligible for Top Secret (US Citizenship required)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, expert attention-to-detail & highly organized
- Knowledge of AF instructions and operations
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of acquisition program's protection requirements throughout its life cycle. Prior administrative experience, working with highly technical information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Prior Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate experience desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Support for the Advanced Concepts Division (AFRL/RWC).
- Advise & assist AFRL/RWC Division and Branch level offices by managing non-personal administrative functions and providing office organization support. Be capable of identifying problems and recommending solutions with minimal supervision, have knowledge of AF directives and procedures in support of management and preparation of Government documentation and have proficiency in office organization and management.
- Advise and assist in performing specific routine actions creating, managing, and maintaining databases to include but not limited to: tracking status of office tasks, suspenses, training, distributing office mail, and reviewing correspondence for correction of deficiencies; meeting/conference organization and preparation, which includes developing agendas and presentations, scheduling and preparation of meeting venue, recording and tracking action items, and performing venue security duties.
- Advise and assist for office official bulletins, displays, and announcements; establishing and maintaining file plans for Government approval; reviewing TDY Orders for compliance with AF directives and processes; draft request for TDY orders and submit for approval; consolidate and prepare orders for processing, and distribute approved orders and tickets to travelers.
- Advise & assist the Division, Branch staffs with monitoring commitments made at meetings, then provide support in adjusting appointments and calendars to minimize conflicts in scheduling; coordinating meeting arrangements, and/or schedules meetings and/or conferences; establish location, set time, contact participants, and ensure all required materials and services are available for meetings/conferences; contact other people to attend meetings in lieu of original participants when necessary.
- Advise & assist in preparing and finalizing a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents, determining and modifying format, content and frequency of requirements from information obtained from staff, files and other sources; in composing and preparing nontechnical and some technical correspondence such as requests for information concerning the organization's mission and programs; office procedures, letters of acknowledgement, commendations, or notification; in coordinating/forwarding correspondence to appropriate offices and updating the correspondence tracking systems and suspense files; in preparing documents IAW regulations and policies and in appropriate format; in reviewing all correspondence thoroughly to ensure correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation; and ensure documents are finalized in a timely manner, meeting prescribed suspense dates or deadlines.
