Key Account Manager

Saugerties, NY

The Key Account Manager will enjoy a varied role working closely with existing customers and identify new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships whilst establishing new contacts. They will also be tasked with generating new business from the new customers and makrets, therefore this position will require a proven track record in generating and qualifying leads into active accounts.

* Strategy for short/mid/long term business for sustainable profitable growth
* Regional After sales Service and support plan in cooperation with VTS team
* Coordination for providing new and differentiated product solution development based on customer's demand and market requirement.
* Risk assessment and set up the measures together with General Manager
* Manage the Orders and Delivery together with Order Management Team in Product Company
* Accurate forecast and close communication with planners in Product Company
* Pricing according to company guidelines and negotiate with the customer
* Monitor and report of the customer status including market position, financial results, product portfolio
* Regular business forecast (OR, REV) and report to General Manager
* Keep good relationship with all levels of the customer by professional and friendly manner, response in time, supports the issues within our responsibilities
* Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business targets, managing personal time and productivity.
* Analyze and provide timely, accurate market information to management, such as pricing situations, status of competitive activities and "red flag" issues related to business in the region.
* Undertake proposals of assigned sales products, including the calculation of sales prices by applying the discounts strategy in place and using the appropriate quoting tool.
* Develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the area providing appropriate actions for on-time delivery and product quality issues.
* Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information by updating the CRM with customer visit reports, opportunities, and quotation status info.
* Cooperate with Finance department to improve the performance of receivables & overdue.
* Liaise with colleagues from other Divisions to co-ordinate activities where appropriate to maximize customer relationship and business outcome wherever possible.
* Attend sales meetings and ensure that all subsequent action required is undertaken
* Undertake ad-hoc project work related to HV & IV, including new products and Marketing Campaigns.
* Provide Customer information / feedback on a regular basis.
* Develop the new business potential within the targeted business territory (E&E LiB Market and Rough Vacuum Market) with the objectives of giving all products the best chance in the market.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in technical fields
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience on sales areas in an industrial environment, ideally with engineering background (Vacuum Industry preferred)
  • Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/technical developments
  • Excellent verbal and written English requires

Salary Range: $96,800 - $108,925

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
