Certified Surgical Tech - Days - Seasonal

The surgical Technologist Certified is responsible for multiple specialty activities before, during and after surgery to ensure high quality patient care, teamwork, and coordination of care. The Surgical Technologist Certified determines work priorities, assists in daily work assignments with clinical leader, and monitors compliance for regulatory requirements. The Surgical Technologist Certified serves as resource person for unit personnel in resolving operation and patient care problems, acts as a liaison with physicians, and is a role model for other department staff.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Naperville, IL

• Full Time 36 Hours

• Hours: Days 7am- 7:30 pm (12 hour shifts) , every third weekend, tracked holidays

What you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required. If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date.
