Schedule/Location:

We are currently seeking a Clinical Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. This position requires on-site presence at our primary care and specialty practices within the Massachusetts MetroWest regional area.

The Opportunity: Clinical Staff Educator, RN

Are you passionate about teaching, mentoring, and enhancing clinical practices to provide the best care possible? As a Clinical Staff Educator, RN, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the clinical competence and growth of our team members. Reporting to the Training Program Manager, you will develop and implement clinical training programs, onboarding new team members and supporting ongoing education for primary care, specialty care, and urgent care. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, teaching skills, and the adaptability to guide and support team members in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Work On



  • Training & Onboarding: Partner with Practice Managers to conduct training on clinical skills, lab testing procedures, workflows, and clinical safety.
  • Program Development: Create and refine training materials, policies, and assessment tools that drive high-quality patient care.
  • Quality & Compliance: Lead the Point of Care Testing Quality Control program, ensuring adherence to CLIA standards and conducting regular audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on clinical quality initiatives, sharing insights for improved processes.
  • Mentorship & Support: Serve as a mentor, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to clinical staff.

Qualifications

About You



  • Licensure/Education: Active Massachusetts RN license. BSN required; MSN, DNP, or PhD preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of clinical experience in primary, specialty, or urgent care, plus 2 years in a training or educator role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) like EPIC, Microsoft Office, and related healthcare software.
  • Clinical Skills: Full range of nursing skills, including patient triage, medication administration, specimen collection, EKG, and more.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and a passion for enhancing team growth and patient care.
