Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support our team of developers building the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. The Scrum Master is a servant leader who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver by teaching and coaching effective Agile practices. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: * Act as a servant leader to the Scrum Team by embracing SAFe Core Values, applying SAFe Principles, implementing SAFe practices, and utilizing ScrumXP rules * Help scrum team achieve in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Helps team focus on daily and Sprint Goals in the context of current PI Objectives. Guides team in establishing normalized story points for estimating user stories * Facilitates all team meetings, including the daily stand-up, Sprint Planning, Team Demos, and Retrospectives. Attend and represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums meetings. * Collaborate with other impacted teams (e.g. Other Scrum or Product teams, Product Owners, Stakeholders) to ensure alignment between priorities, scope, and all deployment-related activities * Assists the team in preparation for ART activities This position is required to be local to the DC Metro Region. This is a hybrid role and requires to be onsite in the Columbia, MD office 4 times per month. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with BS/BA; 3 years with a MS/MA; 1 years with PhD, experience in performing the role of scrum master

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. |
