Summary
The Capital Budgets Consultant performs routine to advanced level financial activities such as budgeting, variance analysis and short- and long-term forecasting for Generation engineering projects.Provides support and backup to Project Managers to successfully complete and close out the project management process. Minimum Requirements
A four-year bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other job-related field from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.In lieu of a bachelor's degree, combination of college coursework and/or experience in financial analysis and/or accounting equaling 11 years. Major Accountabilities
1) Creates current year decommissioning budget and manages to target.Creates and updates the ten-year decommissioning Long Range Forecast (LRF). Analyzes spend and makes appropriate recommendations to management.Tracks, identifies discrepancies and makes recommendations to adjust the current year decommissioning budget and LRF.
