Job Purpose

The Senior Technical Writer ensures automobile and powersports publications provided to the market are technically accurate, provide necessary information to the technician to properly maintain and repair customer units, and are easy to understand in support of the division's goal to achieve industry-leading customer service



Key Accountabilities

  • Review provided service information drafts for technical accuracy and correct formatting.
  • Write technical information content for various bulletins and job aids as necessary.
  • Special projects: participate in or lead special projects to support department.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in the automotive technical field
  • Automotive experience with knowledge of vehicle systems (Honda-specific knowledge a plus)
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and working in a team setting
  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
  • Decision-making and judgment skills are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
