OVERVIEW

This role is responsiblefor supporting the Human Resources Department in a variety of tasks including but not limited to filing HR documents, assisting with onboarding, signing in guests and contractors, managing the Tellus front desk.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist HR in pre-employment and onboarding all new employees
  • Coordinate with front booth security on any visitors
  • Manage attendance and return to work for all employees on medical leave (both FMLA and Worker's Comp)
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment for new employees
  • Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, scanning, copying and faxing
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments, including all conference room scheduling
  • Assist Safety in the management and maintenance of office security and safety procedures
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and staff members as needed
  • Along with HR, responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office
  • Provide cross functional HR support when necessary



WORK EXPERIENCES:



  • Proven office management, administrative experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures



EDUCATION:



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in administrative support OR a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience
