MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Plan and prepare all types of food and baked products according to standardized recipes.

2. Follow production orders as established.

3. Adhere to sanitation and safety standards for food handling and work area.

4. Practice correct food preparation, portioning, and presentation techniques.

5. Records historical production data.

6. Maintain established quality standards.

7. Participates in training of new employees in their duties.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Must be able to read and follow written work assignments.

2. Must have physical ability to perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, reaching and bending.

4. Possess the ability to deal tactfully and harmoniously with patients, visitors and staff.

5. Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care.
