GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager of Brand & Product Strategy is responsible for developing, leading and executing the global brand & product strategy for the brand. This role crafts a brand & product long term strategy and works closely with Licensor, corporate functions, as well as Retail and Wholesale internal stakeholders, to ensure product offer & development, as well as business and marketing needs are being executed in accordance to the business plan & goals.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partner with Licensor and internal business units (Retail, Wholesale) to craft 3Y business development plan and brand strategy
  • Craft and design Product Strategy and Collection architecture, in line and in support of business plan
  • Create product creative briefs for cross-functional teams (R&D, technical, licensor, design) outlining strategies, positioning, concept and inspiration
  • Collaborate with Licensor, designer, technical teams and factory to ensure accurate and timely product development (Product Development Timeline), managing and leading each step of the process, from inception to product discontinuation
  • Collaborate closely with owned Retail to ensure product offer and assortment support and match business needs, as well as collaborate with Wholesale NA to pursue business goals
  • Manage all marketing needs and aspects, working with Licensor to guarantee adequate marketing assets and support, as well as working with all internal functions to ensure flawless execution of marketing plans
  • Manage Marketing budget and relative financial needs with Corporate
  • Prepare and present monthly business review/update and constantly analyze performance and identify corrective actions


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • BA/BS in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or Business Administration
  • 7+ years' experience in product development, merchandising, retail buying, brand management or licensing with consumer goods
  • Analytical/Strategic Thinker with a proven track record
  • Managed multiproduct lines within a brand (entry brand - luxury brand)
  • Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, able to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Highly detail-oriented. Ability to handle several tasks/assignments simultaneously and to maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communications, organizational, presentation and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Licensing experience
  • Product development experience in accessory industry

Pay Range: 120,541.20-176,372.80

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
