Position Title: Assembler Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday) Join a company that is family owned and prides themselves of work-life balance by always having Sundays off with this Assembler position. Job security is high since they are a part of the medical industry and offer benefits in a steady (not fast) work environment. This is a 1st shift position located in Lake Mills, IA. Assembler Responsibilities: - Inspect cabinet parts to ensure quality of product and notifying lead of unacceptable quality - Operate and maintain machinery by following specific direction as given by cut/bore/shape lead - Ready parts based on instructions on production paperwork - Utilize production log to ensure proper order sequence - Operate and maintain spray guns, booths, and pumps by following specific direction as given - Complete rework/remake tickets - Operate forklift (after training by the client) - Assist with shipping and receiving Requirements For Assembler: - Able to lift up to 50lbs throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift - Prolonged standing for 8hr - 12hr shifts - Repetitive bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, twisting throughout 8 to 12 hour shifts - Able to read a tape measure - Able to do basic math and matching - Computer skills are a plus - High School Diploma or GED preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
