Job Description: The Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager is esponsible for operational services in the acute care hospital and if applicable, hospital owned outpatient departments (HOPDs) and/or infusion centers. Responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure that medications are stored, prepared, and dispensed in a safe and effective manner. Ensures that distribution services are provided to meet the needs of the medical staff, patients, nurses, and associates. The Pharmacy Operations Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Must be Kentucky Pharmacist registered or eligible. Minimum of three years experience as a hospital pharmacist. Supervisory experience and an advanced degree are preferred. | |
