ADVANCED FINANCIAL ANALYST - Americas Support

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position reports to the Americas Business Finance Lead for the Flooring Division. The position is primarily responsible for supporting the Global Product and Strategic Accounts Team, but also a key participant in the Americas FP&A Team. A successful job candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exhibit strong initiative and problem-solving skills. Being adept at identifying opportunities for process improvements and effectively communicating and presenting financial issues and recommendations to all levels of management, including those outside of the finance function is highly desired. The ability of multi-tasking in a demanding environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism, exercising strong judgment and discretion, and performing duties in a timely and punctual manner is critical. Additionally, you should communicate effectively across all areas of the business unit and possess the ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive progress on key initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support closing activities on a 4-week cadence, including analyzing financial results compared to forecast.
  • Responsible for Finance activities related to Global Product Team, including coordinating, and providing insights on revenue and inventory forecasts.
  • Provide support to strategic planning process, including multi-year forecasts and the annual financial plan.
  • Assist in efforts to make continued progress on standardizing and automating various financial tasks.
  • Other ad hoc financial support as part of the Americas FP&A team.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • 5-10 years of related work experience
  • Strong understanding of finance/accounting principles and concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, charting) and PowerPoint skills

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

  • Experience with the financial modules of SAP
  • Experience with analytical and dashboard tools, such as SAC, PowerBI, PowerPivot, MSBI, etc.
  • Manufacturing/Plant Finance experience
