The Compliance and Privacy Program (Program) Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Program team in performing program related duties.
- Assists the Program team in performing duties, including, but not limited to: gathering data and records, coordinating meetings, invitations, appointments for events, storing materials and audit results.
- As assigned, receives, coordinates and tracks request for consultations, potential concerns, external audits/reviews and other service-related requests.
- Facilitates payroll processes for staff, tracks time off and enters hours into payroll system as needed. Ensures accuracy of data and collaborates with system payroll representatives.
- Facilitates access for external uses requesting access systems.
- Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Assist in supporting staff reviewing Conflict of interest surveys and/or rated task.
- As assigned, assist with risk mapping and program plan development.
- As assigned, performs Program-related tasks to support the Program specialists, analysts and/or auditors.
- Fully documents activities in the designated databases.
- Assists in preparation of reports.
- Collaborates and coordinates with key stakeholders when performing assigned job duties.
- Composes and/or types correspondence. Provides support for production of a variety of written materials including agendas, minutes, and reports. Keeps files and reports in a confidential manner.
- Assists the Program leadership other duties as assigned.
- For assigned area of work, maintains current knowledge of audit, integrity, compliance and privacy standards/risks.
What We Require:
Education: High school diploma/GED required. Post-high school degree or certificate preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year integrity/compliance, privacy, audit, revenue cycle or related experience in a fast-paced environment. Health care experience preferred.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated knowledge of business practices, with ability to work with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly to change. Skilled in use of personal computers to aid productivity and enhance output.
