Senior Electrician Overview: Fulfilling Department of State's (DOS)requirementto provide best-in-class technical security engineering, design, installation, maintenance, repair, and project management services in support of the U.S. Department of State (the Department or DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Security Technology (ST). We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team. This Position is contingent upon contract award. Primary Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working as an Electrician, preferably with a focus on security systems installation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a Master Electrician license Security Clearance:
Physical Demands: The ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE). Travel: This position requires approximately 75% travel overseas to support Government facilities. Work Environment: Typical assignments are frequently performed in both internal and external environments with a variety of weather conditions.
