CADD Technician Overview: Fulfilling Department of State's (DOS)requirementto provide best-in-class technical security engineering, design, installation, maintenance, repair, and project management services in support of the U.S. Department of State (the Department or DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Security Technology (ST). In this role you will develop difficult and complex working drawings from equipment specifications, engineering notes, sketches, and/or detailed drawings, ensuring that they meet company and industry standards and codes. Understands the materials and methods normally used within the assigned discipline. This Position is contingent upon contract award. Primary Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Experience: 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 6+ years of related experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requirements include PC literacy, proficiency in utilizing CAD and other computer software used to complete design assignments.
