JOB TITLE: Program Analyst (NLEAD)

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ LESIS (Law Enforcement Services & Information Sharing)

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ LESIS

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TIMING: Position requires DOJ Public Trust clearance; candidate can start once complete (2-4 weeks)

ITC is seeking a Program Analyst to join our LESIS team supporting our customer at the Department of Justice. These individuals will support a new project for the organization in establishing a National Law Enforcement Accountability Database as a centralized repository of official records documenting instances of law enforcement officer misconduct as well as commendations and awards.

Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) Section serves as the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Systems Agency (CSA) for hundreds of DOJ, as well as other Federal and Tribal public safety agencies and entities. It is responsible for establishing and administering an information technology security program across its User Agencies while providing the technical capabilities to access national crime information systems for authorized criminal and non-criminal justice purposes.



Responsibilities

    Analyzing, deconicting, archiving and maintaining the content within the NLEADS information library
  • Responsible for drafting/reviewing programmatic and policy based documents
  • Track and Maintain integrated project schedule, action items, decisions, issues
  • Highly eective and ecient written and verbal communication with the program coordinators
  • Support Senior Program Coordinators/Service Delivery Managers with governance management
  • Responsible for drafting and overseeing the Governance SOPs
  • Analyzing, deconflicting, archiving and maintaining the content within the NLEADS information library
  • Maintain and track integrated project schedule, action items, decisions, issues
  • Generate detailed project reports, including status reports, meeting minutes and risk assessments
  • Support communication mechanisms (Teams and Outlook) and facilitate knowledge sharing


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelors Degree, required
  • Significant understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work within project constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with managing documents on MS Teams and communication via Teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated writing experience delivering concise meeting minutes and email communications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
  • Experience with project management tools and software i.e. Microsoft Project, Jira
  • Prior Law Enforcement exposure or familiarity with federal/state law enforcement or DOJ IT program exposuredesired
  • Prior Human Resources program exposure desired

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain a DOJ public trust clearance; candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer's Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
