DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Food Service Worker 1, you will prepare and serve food items as well as perform cleaning duties in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and sanitation regulations. Cleanliness is crucial, and you will clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen items. You will also prepare meal trays, measure portions, serve food, and transport meal trays. Use your culinary skills to provide our individuals with tasty meals, while also brightening their day!

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will be required to work weekends and holidays as operationally necessary, and have rotating days off. Work hours may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime may be required.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
