SUMMARY:

Provides internal and external customer service, technology support and processing support for the Bank's treasury management clients. The individual will have direct contact with Bank clients and their staff via incoming and outgoing phone calls, and all digital communication channels. The incumbent will work collaboratively with treasury management department staff and other Bank departments in order to establish and maintain client products and services. This includes all treasury management services, including but not limited to Business Online Banking, analysis checking, sweep accounts, ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, as well as new product offerings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service relative to processing transactions, addressing inquiries and problem resolution.
  2. Ability to diffuse and resolve conflict while maintaining client relationships and mitigating risk for the Bank.
  3. Assist in the preparation of various bank contracts based on client requirements and product needs.
  4. Assist in the preparation of client implementation schedules, including the arrangement of testing and production timelines, completion of account and product setup, documentation and follow-up.
  5. Use organizational skills to appropriately document and track issues and follow through to resolution.
  6. Identify and report ongoing product, service and/or technology issues to management - recommend changes or improvements as required.
  7. Act as a liaison between internal bank business areas, core banking support services, and treasury management corporate customers in order to quickly and adequately respond to questions and client service issues.
  8. Troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to technology, user systems and browser functionality.
  9. Assist in meeting departmental goals.
  10. Assist with development, testing, implementation and support of treasury management products.
  11. Learn and assist with the Bank's treasury management documentation procedures and requirements insuring compliance.
  12. Assist in supporting and documenting the client implementation process.
  13. Assist in the completion of treasury management reports - balance and maintain test accounts and general ledger accounts as necessary - support and assist with the maintenance of treasury management databases and procedures.
  14. Assist in maintaining and producing procedures, and implementation material for Treasury Management.
  15. Participate in making recommendations related to policies and procedures in order to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of treasury management products and processes.
  16. Support ongoing business development programs that promote the Bank's treasury management services.
  17. Build strong working relationships with internal staff to assist and help manage successful outcomes.
  18. Assist in promoting the Bank's products and services through careful interaction with internal Bank staff and external clients.
  19. Provide support necessary to promote the successful acquisition of new staff into the Bank.
  20. Support a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with other internal support areas and with third party service providers.
  21. Use available resources to learn banking regulatory and treasury management reporting requirements.
  22. Be knowledgeable about industry trends and legislative changes that affect treasury management products and services.
  23. Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.


EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS:



  • Associates degree preferred, preferably in business, finance or accounting


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • Two (2) years prior experience in providing customer service and technology support preferable. Work experience may be substituted with a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) PC's, softwaer and web-based products is required.
  • Some familiarity with investment terminology, laws and regulations governing electronic banking, as well as the Bank's policies, procedures and strategies.
  • Must be available to work some Saturdays and evenings.
  • The position requires personal work habits and attitudes that enhance the overall professional dimension of our organization and contribute directly to successful job performance.
  • Must have cyber security awareness to protect the Bank and the Bank's clients.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/CONTACTS: (Positions with which incumbent has most frequent contact)

The incumbent will actively work with treasury management department staff, commercial lenders, banking center managers & banking center staff, banking services operations staff, business clientss, prospects, all employees, including Bank officers, as well as vendors, regulators, auditors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: (Physical effort generally associated with position) Incumbents must be able to perform the following activities frequently or continuously throughout the workday as appropriate to the position: bend, carry (one and two hands), collate papers, dial a phone, file records, hear at normal speaking levels, hold items with hands, lift up to 25 lbs., move throughout building, operate office equipment (fax, copier, phone, computer, etc.), computer input for extended periods of time, read English, see well enough to scan documents with detail, sit for up to two hours at a time, stand for short periods of time, speak on the telephone and in person, write with hand, and work at the Bank's facilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS: (Typical working conditions with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position)

Internal -- work is normally performed in climate controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines or special meetings.

External -- Some travel to remote Bank locations will be required; this will include some overnight travel, not to exceed 5%. Environmental conditions are regular office and banking center locations of the Bank.
