Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Engineer in Fairburn, GA. Candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in controls engineering. Qualified candidates are proficient in PLC communications, Equipment Management Software. Creating schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs and HMIs, and implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects. Monday Through Friday 7am to 3pm, Extra hours as assigned. What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $74,000 to $112,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Completes recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Performs complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system operation and design.
  • Performs full range of standard work for the professional field.
  • Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
  • 5+ years of successful experience in related field.
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of complex assignments.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD a plus.
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley, Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
  • Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
  • Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
  • Experience in Scanning Devices using Photo recognition and/or Placement photo eyes.
  • Experience with data mining of Sequel Server, Solar Winds, Biq Query or an equivalent data base.
