Are you ready to be at the forefront of manufacturing excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to revolutionize our operational processes and drive innovation across the production of diverse products. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $88,000-$108,000 per year. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

A Day In The Life

  • Works collaboratively with production, planning, manufacturing engineering, and various other operational functions to determine where improvements can be made in process and equipment design.
  • Ensures that the proper documentation is prepared and completed related to operational control processes. This documentation may include process procedures, process guidelines, work instructions, bills of manufacture (BoM), drawings, training documents, and other technical literature.
  • Participates in Kaizen activity and promotes a culture of continuous improvement amongst all coworkers.
  • Reviews change requests for validity and evaluate the effect of requested changes on related parts and products previously manufactured.
  • Supports procurement and finance in their efforts to capture cost and improve supply chain by providing technical support.
  • Investigates new technologies and options for equipment, design and assembly.
  • Coordinates the development, acquisition, purchase, and fabrication of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Designs and fabricates new tooling and fixtures when necessary.
  • Takes leadership role in process validation and pilot production activities for new and/or improved equipment and processes.

  • Working knowledge of production planning and control methods and applications
  • Working knowledge of Solidworks and GD&T, as well as CNC machining
  • Proficient at work system design, measurement, and improvement.
  • Experience with BoM management in a mixed model, just-in-time, manufacturing system.

  • Experience with process modeling and simulation using system architecture principles, vizio, promodel, etc.
  • Problem Solving- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Applies design principles; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Project Management- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
  • Technical Skills- Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.
