GENERAL SUMMARY

The Product Change Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for Product Data Changes and their interactions with DeZURIK business systems. This role will be responsible for documenting the scope and structure of complex product changes. Close coordination with engineering, marketing, and operations teams is necessary for effective planning. Serves as a critical team member to support the development/release of new products and changes to existing products.

This position is currently eligible for DeZURIK's hybrid work schedule.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Analyze proposed product changes to determine the effect on overall product data and system, coordinate modification of records for change control, establish change orders, and prepare for change authorization and documentation.
  • Perform in-depth testing of business processes to prepare for software updates and enhancements. Document bugs or issues and assess them for priority.
  • Provide detailed reports, queries or summary analyses in support of various cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure practice of DeZURIK Engineering Standards and ISO Quality Procedures in the change management process.
  • Determine when and how to communicate the status of changes and implementation schedules to cross-functional, cross-site team members and managers; Escalating large projects to the Program Management team as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Program Management on scoping, analysis, and technical change documentation of large projects.
  • Drive the timely cross-functional review and approval of change orders through clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborate with remote and local manufacturing sites to prioritize and schedule the implementation of approved changes to ensure continuity of manufacturing & distribution.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to review and approve ECRs (Engineering Change Requests).
  • Analyze existing Product Data for accuracy and adherence to standards. Establish audit measures and suggest process or system changes to support data integrity.
  • Participate in or lead special projects, including recommending process improvements.
  • Apply best practices of change control and configuration management.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of related work experience including NetSuite experience preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing ad hoc database queries; knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Excel proficiency: Including the ability to create and interpret complex nested formulas; VBA experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated high level of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of basic Manufacturing concepts or ability to learn; including blueprint reading, BOM structure, and revision control.
  • Experience with document management.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and lead cross-functional project teams is critical.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, and extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.
  • Position requires movement around the facilities.
  • Occasional handling of material and components.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron, and boots). Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.
