We are now accepting applications for a Safety Coordinator, reporting to the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. This position is a salary role and to be considered you must meet the job requirements. This position supports the EHS Manager in monitoring the facility and employees to ensure safe, healthy, and regulatory compliant working conditions. The person would assist in developing and maintaining an effective, proactive accident and injury prevention program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities: May be required. Competencies: Possess basic analytical math skills as well as mechanical and electrical aptitudes. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in reading, speech, technical writing, project management, spreadsheets, interpersonal skills. Language Skills: English Mathematical Skills: An understanding of algebra, scientific units, measurement conversions, and general equipment calibration techniques is required to aid in developing and carrying out monitoring strategies and tasks. Reasoning Ability: Analytical ability to determine cause and effect relationships. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional Preferred Other Qualifications: Irregular and changing working hours with little notice is required as directed to accomplish tasks on alternate shifts. Travel Requirement: Some travel be required for training and certification purposes.
