- When it comes to EV (electric vehicle) utility billing, common issues include inaccurate usage calculations due to complex charging patterns, discrepancies in time-of-use pricing, billing errors related to meter reading, high demand charges, issues with shared charging infrastructure.
- Key points about EV utility billing issues: Many utilities implement time-of-use pricing to incentivize off-peak charging, but complex billing structures can lead to confusion and potential errors for EV owners.
- Metering Issues: Meter reading errors, especially with smart meters, can result in inflated bills for EV owners.
- High Demand Charges: If an EV is charged quickly, it can trigger high demand charges on the electricity bill, which can be unexpected for users.
- Billing Transparency Concerns: Some EV owners may not fully understand the breakdown of their electricity bill, especially when it comes to the impact of EV charging.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience (retail, supply chain, or customer facing - something along these lines)
OR college bachelor's degree
- Project management, self-starter, driven, resourceful
- The ability to research/investigate on their own
- Good documentation
