Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Web Developer to work on-site from our City Center Building located in Newport News, VA.

Job Summary:

The Web Developer collaborates with various teams and vendors to develop and maintain the public-facing, and some internal-facing segments of credit union web infrastructure. The Web Developer coordinates and collaborates with the Digital Banking and Marketing teams to maximize page conversions, streamline navigation, and optimize search engine rankings for effective and efficient user experience.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Produces efficient code using front-end and back-end languages.
  • Troubleshoots, tests and debugs websites and web applications.
  • Works with content creators to update and maintain content on all Langley web properties using analytics driven, mobile first approach.
  • Designs and tests landing pages.
  • Maintains corporate intranet site and manages intranet postings.
  • Integrates third party digital offerings with Langley websites.
  • Executes additional work as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of PHP experience is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience developing front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs with web applications.
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge with GIT and managing Windows server.
