Skookum is seeking an experienced and efficient Production Manager with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Contract Management - understands the full contract requirements and ensures requirements are aligned to the right site teams for day-to-day management. Process Change Management - Able to explain the "why" to employees and lead completion of key projects. Understands and leverage maintenance best practices and enabling technology. Good Disability Awareness - Open to accommodating disabilities in the workplace, Believes in the Skookum mission. Production Leadership - Leads and continually improves the integrated, E2E production process. Works closely with site, corporate, and client teams to continually improve the process through best practices, innovation, and systems. Understands all process aspects including shop and technician tasks centered around mobile applications. Meets key performance and contract objectives. Enables shift to proactive maintenance, asset management and reliability. Optimize systems to support process improvement - To enable continuous process improvement, identifies, prioritizes, and facilitate improvements to core systems. Facilitates the joint team including key site leads (identify issues and improvements) and RAM system leads (configure and integrate systems). Information management - The Production Manager leads all information collection, transformation, and distribution including contract deliverables, automated reports, and BI views/dashboards. Very knowledgeable on key assets, work, and reliability data - continuously improve ways to convert this data into actionable information. Facilitates asset data reviews and project prioritization both internally and with DPW partners. Ensures key performance information and metrics are displayed in Skookum and DPW dashboards and supports contractual and other reporting requirements. Shop and Technician Efficiency and Effectiveness - Working with Site teams, leads key improvements to increase shop efficiency and effectiveness such as work routing, planning, scheduling, purchasing, streamlined approvals, and online technical data lookup with goal of exceeding 40% wrench-time by end of year 3 (using workorder completion as a proxy). Planned improvements will be added incrementally and supported by the RAM team. Project Management - Leads the project team responsible for execution of all reimbursable projects. Ensures the project process meets contact and performance objectives. Leverages systems to streamline and automate key functions and tasks. Production Team and processes - Leads the Production Clerk team responsible for E2E work processing including integration with client systems leveraging both automated and manual entry. Ensures all key work and asset data is captured, integrated and enriched - enabling both Skookum and Client systems and requirements. This effort includes but is not limited to new project digitization, planned maintenance alignment, asset inventory, and condition ratings. Trains and mentors team. Meets key performance and contract objectives. Logistics Team and processes. Leads the purchasing and inventory functions leveraging best practices and systems. Ensures logistic results fully support production, procurement, and regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors team. Meets key performance and contract objectives. Government Furnished property (GFP) - Leveraging Skookum Maximo, effectively tracks all GFP including facilities, equipment, vehicles and materials. Ensures all required reporting and accountability is accomplished. In support of the Site Manager, ensures that required supervision of personnel is present during both regular and non-duty hours. Managing the duty rosters. Shall be highly responsive to DPW leadership and contracting officer. As delegated by the Site Manager, authorization to requisition supplies and materials and sign tasks orders for IJO (Individual Job Orders) within the Skookum approval tiers. Travel to home office conferences, flagship sites, and outlying contract sites as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Management experience required. CRL certification required within first two years. Previous experience leading maintenance shops required. Significant experience using Maximo and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems (aka CMMS) preferred. Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory, and subcontractor management. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and conflict resolution skills required. Associate's degree preferred.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
