The Shipping Clerk will maintain data within a Warehouse Management System including inventory, fulfillment, transportation, and order management. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for planning orders, arranging transportation, maintaining transportation contacts, and work instructions for customer-routed freight. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Employee must be able to deal with multiple assignments and work well under pressure. Steel-toed shoes are required for interaction in the warehouse. Must be able to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment exposed to hot/cold temperatures and dust. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This position is in a loud environment and at times may be cold or hot.
