Job Level: Associate Director.

Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Principal Functional Architect with a good background in SAP Standard Order to Cash. The ideal candidate will have 17 to 20 years of experience and a proven track record in Industrial Manufacturing Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into effective SAP solutions. The position is based on a day shift schedule with no travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP Standard Order to Cash processes to ensure they meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
  • Be responsible for the integration of SAP solutions with other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Provide expert guidance on standard methodologies for SAP Order to Cash processes demonstrating industry knowledge and experience.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements translating them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of SAP processes configurations and customizations to support ongoing system maintenance and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Handle and resolve sophisticated issues related to SAP Order to Cash processes providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Train and mentor junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to build a strong capable team.
  • Work closely with collaborators to ensure that SAP solutions align with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Stay ahead of with the latest SAP technologies and trends incorporating new features and functionalities as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all SAP projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
  • Nurture a culture of continuous improvement encouraging innovation and the adoption of standard methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 17 years of experience in SAP Standard Order to Cash processes.
  • Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in Industrial Manufacturing Finance & Accounting.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sophisticated issues effectively.
  • Show proficiency in integrating SAP solutions with other business systems.
  • Display good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
  • Have experience in training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time within scope and within budget.
  • Possess strong documentation skills for maintaining detailed records of processes and configurations.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Have a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills for gathering and analyzing business requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate - Order to Cash with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/18/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $156,500.00 - $212,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
