Role: SAP Manufacturing Solution Architect

Job Level: Associate Director.

Location: Onsite- San Francisco, CA

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly expert Principal Functional Architect with 17 to 20 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP PP and related modules with a good background in master data batch management sales and operation planning and more. Expertise in SAP PP & QM & PM Lead. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that drive our company success and give to societal advancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design and implementation of SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Expertise in SAP PP & QM & PM Lead.
  • Coordinate the integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM and SD.
  • Provide expert mentorship on SAP PP master data management and batch management.
  • Develop and implement sales and operation planning processes within SAP PP.
  • Handle material requirements planning using SAP MM.
  • Implement and take charge of engineering processes for handling changes in SAP.
  • Complete shop floor operations and ensure efficient production execution.
  • Develop long-term planning strategies using SAP PP.
  • Handle demand planning and ensure alignment with production capabilities.
  • Supervise production campaigns and ensure timely execution.
  • Implement and handle variant configuration processes within SAP PP.
  • Implement process orders and ensure compliance with production schedules.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure detailed integration and process optimization.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users on SAP PP functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Possess extensive experience in SAP PP master data management.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP PP batch management.
  • Have a confirmed background in sales and operation planning within SAP PP.
  • Show proficiency in material requirements planning using SAP MM.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with engineering change processes in SAP.
  • Have experience in shop floor execution and production management.
  • Demonstrate skills in long-term planning and demand management.
  • Show proficiency in handling production campaigns and variant configuration.
  • Possess experience in process order execution within SAP PP.
  • Nice to have experience in Finance & Accounting and Industrial Manufacturing domains.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with a day shift schedule.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate successfully with multi-functional teams.

Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Professional - Production Planning & Manufacturing with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/18/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $156,500.00 - $212,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
