In this position you will be responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily production requirements, supporting the lean manufacturing principles and concepts, developing a culture of continuous improvement, and initiate problem solving to improve all KPI's impacts within your area of responsibility.

We Take Care of Our Team

Position offers a starting salary range of$90,000 - $115,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience.

What You Drive at DTNA:
  • Support the plant metrics by establishing goals and targets for your area of responsibility.

  • Employee relations promoting teamwork, coaching, mentoring, and issuing discipline as needed.

  • Lead problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

  • Be proactive and lead initiatives to improve SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environmental.

  • Responsible for all employee work and production records in assigned area.

  • Responsible for schedule development and adherence in assigned area.

  • Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager.

  • Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas.

  • Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives.

  • Primarily supervises the work of hourly employees large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics.

  • Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees.

  • Responsible for staffing decisions such as hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees.

Knowledge You Should Bring:
  • BA/BS AND 4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience of leading teams of people in a high volume manufacturing or Logistics setting in lieu of degree

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Must be able to work any shift

Exceptional Candidates Might Have:
  • Business degree

  • Cell based manufacturing
