Overview

The Digital Product Manager-Associate (DPM-A) supports Independent Health's Digital Experience team and assists in managing the day to day digital product development need. The DPM-A is responsible for managing digital products for both web and mobile applications and should demonstrate a clear understanding of the users and usage. The DPM-A will also participate in the implementation of projects along the roadmap.

The DPM-A will advise the Digital Experience team and Independent Health business partners of the capabilities and best practices that exist in the web and mobile channels for user experience or for particular tools.

This position will work with Information Technology and business partners and outside vendors to ensure all business operations projects are completed in a timely manner and to the outlined requirements. This includes communicating business requirements, recommending resources necessary, and measuring against goals for success.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of digital, marketing or technology experience required.
  • Experience in developing digital solutions to drive user engagement, customer experience, and/or customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of the digital space, including current market trends in online media and social media aspects.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and work with associates across multiple business areas.
  • Experience with using analytical skills to create appropriate recommendations.
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, to include understanding business concepts, philosophies, functions, terminology and relationships.
  • Proven examples of displaying the IH values: Passionate, Caring, Respectful, Trustworthy, Collaborative and Accountable.
Essential Accountabilities
  • Create business plans for new digital capabilities, functionality and services for our customers.
  • Provide competitive research and market analysis to drive direction of digital products.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common and shared vision.
  • Lead teams through the development process to ensure success by creating the product priorities and requirements.
  • Work with the business to translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with our Information Technology Group and appropriate technology vendors to ensure these requirements are translated into technical requirements.
  • Determine and create metrics to ensure success of all Independent Health digital experiences.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to determine promotional elements needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Understand the needs and motivations of the primary constituent groups (current members, prospective members, providers, employers, and brokers), as they relate to Independent Health and quality, efficient healthcare management.
  • Analyze and report on key digital metrics.
  • Collaborate with the other Independent Health e-business team members to help shape and coordinate a company wide e-business strategy.
  • Investigate, assess, and recommend emerging technology solutions that could be deployed to enhance the success of the business objectives.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices.

Hiring Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually

Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
