Description

The Associate Full Stack Developer is an entry-level Developer responsible to assist with designing, coding and modifying websites and web applications on time and within budget. The Associate Developer will work closely with the Business Analysts to understand the business requirements and create an appropriate solution. This position involves supporting and maintaining our corporate web site and internal communication site as well as custom applications.


Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Content Management on the website with routine updates to web pages and documents
  • Create website / portal applications by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Design and develop new functionality for existing and new websites and applications
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing websites and applications
  • Developing prototype of applications
  • Identify new technologies or technological improvements to include in the application to improve usability, stability and maintainability
  • Provide technical consultation to the business community
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the team (i.e. improving documentation, software quality improvement, etc.) and outline and implement solutions
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Corporate Compliance Responsibility - As an essential function, responsible for complying with Neighborhoods Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures as it applies to individual job duties, the department, and the Company. This position must exercise due diligence to prevent, detect and report unlawful and/or unethical conduct by fellow co-workers, professional affiliates and/or agents


Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:



  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field or sufficient work experience to equate to the degree
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of Content Management System experience in WordPress
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of Front-end development experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of .Net development experience using C# and ASP.NET
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of strong RDBMS experience preferable MariaDB or SQL Server
  • Experience with version control tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Strong systems analysis, problem solving and design skills
  • A solid understanding of how websites work including UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • Experience with Project Management Techniques and tools such as JIRA, Rally, or Trello
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, excellent customer service skills and team player
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines


Preferred:



  • Masters degree
  • Up to One (1)+ years of HMO experience
  • Understanding of accessibility/disability/508 compliance requirements
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization process
  • Experience writing Functional and Technical specifications
  • Experience with web form development preferably WordPress Gravity Forms
  • Experience with PHP
  • Experience with API integration
  • Experience with Telerik tool set
  • One (1)+ years of proven work experience in responsive web development
  • One (1)+ years of functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)
