This role will be a summer internship during the summer of 2025 focused on helping develop new enablement interfaces and content for Onshape education users. You will be doing front end software engineering and supporting content creation to provide a smoother getting started and learning experience for educators and students teaching and learning CAD. The Education Team at PTC is made up of engineers, educators, sales, and marketing individuals that support students, educators, and schools worldwide by providing software and learning resources. We have a rapidly growing user base with evolving learning needs, including students in grade school all the way through graduate school. In developing our product and enablement materials, we strive always to put the customer first. Your Day to Day: Help develop the front end of a web application in Onshape designed to help education users get started Support the development of learning content for educators and students Update existing content to reflect product updates and best practices Work with members of the training and R&D teams to support additional development initiatives Basic Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Instructional Design Front end software development (Preferably JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills Basic web app development (experience working with a REST API is a plus) CAD Experience is a plus (Preferably Onshape) Teaching/Mentorship experience is a plus At PTC, we believe in the power of diverse ideas and perspectives.
