Description Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI is currently seeking a Human Service Professional (Parent Educator) who will focus on skill building and psycho-social development working with CCS, wraparound, and CST clients in the Sauk/Columbia County areas! This role is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity! Our Human Service Professionals provide mentoring services to both parents and youth. Parent mentors provide in-home parent education and support, assess parent functioning, collaborate with family to create a service goal plan, and provide parenting interventions through verbal instruction, role-modeling, video instruction and interactive activities. Youth mentors provide emotional support, social and recreational development to supplement the work of parents, teachers, counselors, social workers and other providers. Under direction, perform work involving the delivery of professional human services to individuals, families, and/or groups. This work may be completed in a variety of settings (e.g. home, school, office, community) utilizing various forms of service delivery (e.g. in-person, audio, visual) per the service plan.
