Description: NSI requires an Analyst III to support the Commander, Naval Airforce Atlantic program (CNAL). The Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic (a. k. a. COMNAVAIRLANT, AIRLANT, and CNAL) is the aviation Type Commander (TYCOM) for the United States Naval aviation units operating primarily in the Atlantic under United States Fleet Forces Command including six nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, 54 aircraft squadrons, 1,200 aircraft and 43,000 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel based on the East Coast of the United States. AIRLANT is responsible for the material readiness, administration, training, and inspection of units/squadrons under their command, and for providing operationally ready air squadrons and aircraft carriers to the fleet. It provides combat ready, sustainable naval air forces with the right personnel, properly trained and equipped, with a focus on readiness, operational excellence, interoperability, safety, and efficient resourcing.

The CNAL Cost and Demand Management group (CDM) is responsible for providing analytical based maintenance and supply analysis and recommendations to improve demand, cost and readiness outcomes for CNAL forces. We are looking for an experienced consultant (or consultant equivalent) to join our Navy Aviation Cost and Demand Management (CDM) project with AIRLANT. This role will be focused on designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform's suite of capabilities with a strong focus on PowerApps and Power Automate to optimize legacy processes through automated workflows and synchronize operations at scale. The ideal candidate will have naval aviation experience and a strong working knowledge of JSON, data integration with SharePoint, and other cloud environments using SQL or Python, and configuring appropriate user-group permissions for workflows/solutions developed. Below are the responsibilities for the position:

1. Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients on pain points and potential use cases for building out the CDM Power Platform.

2. Coordinate with internal workstreams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

3. Conduct audits of engineered processes to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for modernization.

4. Conduct end-to-end process mapping for workflow automation and identify logical and system data element dependencies and risks.

5. Identify, cleanse, and integrate relevant data sets into Databricks pipelines leveraging medallion-structured tables.

6. Build automated workflows in Power Automate to advance and scale process flows integrating with PowerApps and other MS Office applications.

7. Conduct testing of automated workflows and PowerApps to debug prior deploying the MVP and UAT.

8. Conduct UAT with stakeholders for CDM Power Platform and integrate feedback into MVP.

9. Tailor CDM Power Platform based on user roles.

10. Design and develop PowerBI dashboards connected to CDM Power Platform.

Location: NAS Norfolk, VA

Education: BS or BA degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics or Data Science is required.

Experience: At least four (4) to six (6) years of PowerApp and Power Automate development and coding experience. Knowledge and experience with Python or other equivalent coding languages, Databricks and Jupiter/ADVANA, SQL, JSON, SharePoint, data engineering and wrangling, and PowerBI.

Desired Skills:

* Strong communication skills and leadership briefing experience

* Strong critical thinking/problem solving ability

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
