Manager, Finanical Planning and Analysis

The Manager of Administrative Spend Management oversees the administrative budgeting process, conducting financial analysis, and creating accurate forecasts based on historical data and future trends. Responsible for analyzing financial trends, developing detailed reporting, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making related to administrative spend management. Additionally, collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and long-term financial projections.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the annual budget process, quarterly forecast projections, and long-term projections for administrative expenses, ensuring strategic alignment and financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with functional areas to assess administrative spend projections against benchmarks and assist in developing and executing plans to meet targets.
• Manages financial planning and analysis staff
• Manage and optimize the organization's cost accounting model for administrative expenses.
• Oversee and manage the organization's fund request process, working closely with various departments to thoroughly analyze contracts and funding requests for strategic alignment and value-add opportunities.
• Facilitate the department's evaluation and adoption of innovative reporting technologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
• 8 years progressive experience in financial planning and analysis or similar role, 3 years which are in a leadership capacity.

Professional Certification(s):

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced Microsoft Office and financial systems skills.
• Expertise in developing budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning
• Advanced modeling capabilities
