Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work remotely with our client in Tonawanda, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • This role interfaces with all key operations, reliability, IT, engineering, and business departments globally, supporting regional organizations to maintain and improve the reliability of rotating equipment and meet desired performance goals.
  • Manage Vibration Data Logger VDL program, ensuring systems uptime and updates.
  • Support regions in implementing and troubleshooting the VDL systems (hardware & software).
  • Support the implementation of the ECM+VDL program.
  • Support other engineering tasks as needed.

Pay: $42.00/hr

Hours: 40 hrs/ week

Length: Temp (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of computer operating s (Microsoft Office, Network Settings).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with vibration analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of vibration monitoring programs; e.g., Emerson/CSI's Machinery Health Manager, EZ-Tomas,ADRE, and Bently NevadaSystem 1.
  • Hands-on experience with operating, testing, and commissioning mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with data management (e.g., SQL) and visualization (e.g., Tableau) tools.
  • Category III vibration analyst certification (Vibration Institute).
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, team interaction, and presentation skills.
  • The candidate must be a hands-on self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
