Director, SIOP and Demand Planning

Position Summary:

Hillenbrand is looking for a Director, SIOP and Demand Planning to join our team remotely. In this new role as the Director, SIOP and Demand Planning, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the monthly SIOP cadence across Hillenbrand's Molding Technology Solutions (MTS) segment, which includes three Operating Companies (Milacron, Mold-Masters, and DME), and will align with overarching business objectives aimed at revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory turns and lead times improvement, as well as optimization of the overall working capital.

Work You'll Do:

  • Establish and manage SIOP governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across all regions and business units.

  • Develop and implement global SIOP performance metrics and KPIs, and regularly report on SIOP performance to executive leadership.

  • Drive the development and enhancement of SIOP competency, leading cross-functional change and building capability to adapt to the dynamic business environment.

  • Lead global SIOP process improvement initiatives and foster collaboration among operating company SIOP teams and corporate functions.

  • Spearhead the development of the Global SIOP council to build SIOP Maturity & Effectiveness Roadmap.

  • Proactively identify and assess risks related to supply chain disruptions and demand fluctuations and develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Lead monthly Pre-SIOP Demand Consensus meetings across all operating companies within the Molding Technology Solutions (MTS) segment to reach an unconstrained consensus demand plan.

  • Govern the development of a rolling 0-24-month Demand Plan for all products and regions based on various inputs and forecasting models.

  • Lead business collaboration process with sales and marketing to influence business forecast and understand customer demand profile.

  • Develop strategies for harmonizing demand planning processes across diverse markets/segments and product categories and own the outcome of the design by ensuring acceptance and adoption.

Team:

The Director, SIOP and Demand Planning is a new role reporting to the Executive Director, Global Materials Management at Hillenbrand.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations

  • Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels, and thrive in a cross-functional, matrix, evolving business, and technical environment

  • Capable of influencing cross-functional and cross-regional/international teams

  • Strong financial acumen and project management skills
