Job Level: Associate Director.

Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Functional Architect with 18 to 20 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in S/4 HANA modules including Accounts Receivables Profitability Analysis Cost Center Accounting SAP Controlling Profit Center Accounting Product Costing Automatic Payments and New GL. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Finance & Accounting and Industrial Manufacturing domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of S/4 HANA solutions for various financial modules.
  • Oversee the integration of S/4 HANA modules with existing systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide expert guidance on S/4 HANA Accounts Receivables to optimize financial processes.
  • Implement S/4 HANA Profitability Analysis to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Manage S/4 HANA Cost Center Accounting to ensure accurate cost tracking and allocation.
  • Utilize S/4 HANA SAP Controlling to streamline financial control and management processes.
  • Develop and maintain S/4 HANA Profit Center Accounting to improve financial transparency.
  • Oversee S/4 HANA Product Costing to ensure accurate product cost calculations.
  • Implement S/4 HANA Automatic Payments to enhance payment processing efficiency.
  • Utilize S/4 HANA New GL to improve financial reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of S/4 HANA solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of S/4 HANA solutions to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Possess extensive experience in S/4 HANA Accounts Receivables Profitability Analysis Cost Center Accounting SAP Controlling Profit Center Accounting Product Costing Automatic Payments and New GL.
  • Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in Finance & Accounting and Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Showcase strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in similar roles.
  • Show proficiency in training and supporting end-users.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Possess a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Show the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates SAP Certified Application Associate - Management Accounting with SAP S/4HANA

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/18/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $156,500.00 - $212,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
