Job Purpose

EX2- AI Analyst- Strategic Planning

American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking an AI Analyst for our Strategic Planning department. The AI Analyst will contribute to the development, presentation and implementation of short, mid-term and long- term strategic AI plans to help position AHFC for competitive advantage and a successful transformation to the future of Honda. They will research AI industry trends and use industry knowledge and experience to formulate sound recommendations to support objectives and budgets. The Analyst will design and recommend supporting strategies, action plans and KPIs to track progress and provide updates on those key initiatives monthly, quarterly and annually for the benefit of various stakeholders (i.e. AHFC Executive Leadership Team, AHFC Management and AHM).

Key Accountabilities

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:




  • Strategic AI Planning - Contribute and propose the development, presentation and implementation of short, mid-term and long-term strategic plans.
  • Conduct research and prepare analysis to understand AHFC's competitive landscape- Support key strategic growth initiatives of AHFC through AI technology
  • Collaborate on key AI initiative meetings with AHFC Leadership and Executive Management team - Track AI initiatives and prepare presentations for AHFC Leadership and Executive Management team.
  • Business partner relationships- Research key vendors for AI initiatives, coordinate vendor meetings
  • Contribute to the Strategic Planning Department and AHFC by involvement with ad hoc research and reporting assignments as needed.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Who are we seeking:




  • BA/BS degree required in finance, economics, business, business administration, mathematics/statistics, date science, or related field.
  • MBA or related MS degree preferred
  • Work experience must include 5+ years in a lending, or financial field.
  • Deep understanding of AI technology, capability, and implementation strategies
  • Must have a solid understanding of the automotive industry / automotive finance business.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management across all Honda companies
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Thorough understanding of AI technology, system integration and capability

Hybrid Work Schedule (Remote 1 day a week in the Torrance Office required)

Travel 10%

EX2 Grade Level Pay Range: $72,200-108,300- Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
