Responsibilities:



  • Monitors and tests equipment to identify and diagnose and repair malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of central systems.
  • Repairs and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect major machines for defects, and measure accuracy of machine operation.
  • Collaborates with engineering department on tool design and function.
  • Maintains the overall operation of the facility's electrical and mechanical, ensuring it performs as intended.
  • Monitors and tracks tool crib inventory usage ensuring tools or equipment are correctly checked out and returned following use. This includes reporting issues identified.
  • Demonstrates understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC), and demonstrates the ability to use PLC to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
