Professional Services Group is now hiring for the Child Welfare Licensing Liaison to join our Statewide Licensing Program!

Here at PSG, we are a mental health and social services organization dedicated to supporting the communities we serve. The Statewide Licensing Program was created to promote the health, safety, and welfare of children placed in out-of-home care. As the Child Welfare Licensing Liaison, you will work with residential facilities, shelters, group homes, kinship homes, and child-placing agencies to complete the state licensing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHILD WELFARE LICENSING LIAISON:



  • Process initial and continuation license applications for residential facilities, shelters, group homes, kinship homes, child-placing agencies, etc.
  • Assist the State Licensors with conducting placement verification visits.
  • Assist the State Licensors in reviewing incident reports and making recommendations
  • Provide technical assistance to facilities.
  • Assist State Licensors in entering documentation into electronic systems.
  • Support conversions in court as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain resource and training materials.
  • Be available via phone to assist with any questions or concerns of licensors or facilities.


SALARY: $19.00 per hour

LOCATION: Candidate must currently reside in either the Western, Northern, or Northeastern regions of Wisconsin. Position will work primarily remote with weekly on-site hours required to conduct visits at state-licensed facilities. Travel is required throughout the Western, Northern, or Northeastern regions, and occasionally the Southeastern region. Travel and mileage reimbursement is provided.

SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evenings required to accommodate program needs.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related; or, at minimum, five years of experience/training related to child welfare.
  • Must be a resident of Wisconsin local to the Western, Northern, or Northeastern regions.
