The Sr. Staff Accountant is responsible for working with the Manager of Financial Reporting to complete the overall monthly accounting closing process, intercompany support, and cash forecasting. Assists in maintaining the accounting system books and records and supporting documentation for the amounts within the system.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Forecasting Support:
- Assist in annual and quarterly forecasts.
- Work with projects to forecast cash and provide comments
and requests for analysis for cash planning and deviation analysis.
Intercompany:
- Coordinate intercompany invoices within the billing system,
and coordinate with projects to ensure accurate accruals for intercompany invoices. - Validate, reconcile, and match intercompany balances for
actuals, forecast, and budget. - Create and manage invoices for intercompany activities
including month end billing accruals.
Assist Financial Management and Director of Finance Controlling:
- Provide support to financial management team on any ad hoc
projects, month end duties, and other as assigned. - General project accounting support.
Audit:
- Assist in delivery of annual audit and special
audits.
Special Purpose Entities:
- Support special purpose entities with invoicing, general
journal entries, and reconciliation.

Minimum Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ Years of Experience
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices,
and procedures
Skills & Specific Knowledge: Cash Forecasting experience:
- Skill in performing complex numerical calculations
- Proficiency with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel
- Highly Organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to
maintain information confidentiality - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skill in use of personal computers and related financial
and accounting software products - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License or CPA
Candidate - Oracle or SAP experience
- Industry Accounting experience preferred, preferably in a
construction or manufacturing business
