GAI Consultants, a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Project Construction Technician 1 (Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor) for Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Quality Assurance Inspection projects on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. You will be responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in the construction and installation of the work. You will also prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules; check shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations; keep records of quantities and cost of materials used; prepare contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommend payment. TCIS may supervise a staff of inspectors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
