Job Description: Central State Hospital is hiring for a full time Security Officer (Main Entrance) This position is Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM, including some holidays Job duties include but are not limited to: Provides security coverage for the hospital main entrance Processes visitors and manages phone inquiries in a timely manner Provides professional and courteous customer experience when addressing internal/external client needs Assures each visitor and staff present the proper identification for hospital entry Abides by HIPAA regulations and protects all protected health information (PHI) Notifies departments and units of visitors or deliveries Maintains appointment/visitation schedule, hospital data, patient cab vouchers Monitors interior/exterior surveillance cameras in the main entrance panel and reports unusual occurrences Assists in coordinating patient transportation, medical emergencies, patient medical off campus appointments and patient return transports Provides security administrative support as needed Completes all annual training within specified timeframes and other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High School degree Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Time Type: Full time We continually help our community and employees flourish... one life at a time.
