The Director of Tax and Treasury is responsible for the cash management and tax compliance functions of the Company. This individual develops and reviews policies and procedures for treasury and tax, manages relationships with banks and lenders, forecasts the cash needs for the consolidated organization, and prepares financial information to support quarterly tax estimates and annual filings. The role requires a detail-oriented problem solver with strong technical skills who works well in a deadline-driven environment.

Setting: Professional office environment with hybrid and flexible schedule options available.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee corporate treasury, banking and investment programs
  • Manage and administer the Company's debt portfolio, including building and maintaining relationships with lender and completing quarterly debt reporting.
  • Improve cash management process and controls, including developing a robust process for cash flow forecasting.
  • Conduct thorough financial evaluations of prospective investments, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws with assistance from the Company's tax service provider.
  • Prepare financial information and tax-related supporting schedules for the Company's tax service provider.
  • Support timely financial analysis and review of tax filings and facilitate effective communication regarding the Company and its related entities.
  • Develop and lead the Company's tax planning and strategy.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or other related field is required. CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Seven or more years in an accounting, treasury, tax, or finance role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a bias for accuracy.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Effective written communication, primarily through e-mail, and verbal communication with external contacts and internal customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and work independently.
