We're looking for top tech and project management talent to analyze, recommend and build strategic solutions that support Triumph Financial's mission to become a world-class, market-leading financial and technology company.

In this position you will be responsible for the coordination of projects executed by the technology teams for both internal projects, and the portion of larger enterprise projects that have an financial technology component.

You'll coordinate both technical and non-technical resources on projects, manage timelines, oversee budgets, communicate status, and maintain the project portfolio for the TBK Bank and digital banking platform team.

A Day in the life:

  • Be the Sr Project Manager for all projects executed by the banking team, for enterprise banking and digital banking platforms related projects.

  • Coordinate resource allocation to projects by working with team leaders and team members.

  • Manage vendor relationships and resources that are involved with projects.

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and communications for projects in the project portfolio.

  • Be the interface with business owners and business teams on projects.

  • Assist with business case definition, review of business requirements, gap analysis, feasibility studies, and solution review with project and IS stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization to enhance project execution and delivery.

  • Manage project issues and risks, and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.

  • Work closely with the Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO) on co-operative projects.

  • Follow SPMO project standards.

  • Utilize project management standards, including the Agile and Waterfall methodology and other industry best practices.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years project management experience in a professional environment supporting multi-function project teams and business owners.

  • Strong familiarity and direct experience utilizing project management methodologies, software tools, and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience managing multiple banking and digital banking related projects across teams.

  • PMP, Scrum Master certification or similar certifications, nice to have but not required.

  • Familiar with products such as Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, Temenos, etc.

Additional skills and abilities we're seeking:

  • Strong communication, organization, planning, and diplomacy skills.

  • Understanding of technology industry concepts and terms.

  • Demonstrate experience leading projects from idealization to completion.

  • Ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex communication style with technical and non-technical users.

  • Prioritization and time management skills, be self-motivated and reliable with the drive to hit performance targets in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work with and influence personnel that are not direct reports.

  • Strong collaborative skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical business users/leaders.

  • Strong and focused team player and a consensus builder.

  • Ability to sift through details quickly and determine what is important.

  • Passion for and a desire to delight the customer.

  • Creative problem solving, organization, attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability is crucial to the success of this role.
