Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with PMP or Agile certification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead a wide range of technology projects This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage project teams and ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with CIO to develop and manage the Project Portfolio
  • Work with CIO to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive the requirements definition process, working with business owner(s) and/or a business analyst and IS resources.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Consult management and review project proposals, timelines, budgetary requirements, staffing requirements, alignment of resources, identification of risks, and contingency plans.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring all members are aligned with project objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist with project governance, maintaining a project dashboard for the department.
  • Assist the IS Team with various administrative activities through the usage of the Information Systems Project Management Tool


Position Specific Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Solid understanding and improvements to standard business processes including Change Management, Work Prioritization, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Continuous Improvement best practices.
  • Ability to work and remain organized in a fast-paced complex environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines.


Education and General Requirements:

  • PMP or Agile certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in the professional services sector, law firm experience a plus.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact and work productively as part of the IS team, delivering high quality services to the Firm and our clients.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in person and in writing, with Firm personnel at all levels and outside parties as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Expected to carry a smart phone.
